It’s easy to locate venture capital firms on the Web by using a directory such
as Yahoo. If you enter search phrases such as “investment bank” and
“venture capital,” you’ll find links to the Web sites of many firms. (See Figure 1).

The Capital Connection has links
to more than 600 venture firms, along with quality information about topics
such as understanding what VCs really want to see in a business plan.
The purpose of the National Venture Capital Association
is to protect and promote the interests of venture capitalists. But you can still
find helpful information on the Web site.
